In John 15, Jesus said, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in Him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing."
"Apart from me, you can do nothing."
For our ministries to yield any kind of fruit in 2024, let's consider three things from this analogy.
1.) We need to trust in our Father, the Gardener (an experienced and extremely knowledgeable farmer seeking a harvest of life change).
2.) The Vine is the source of future fruit; it is the flavor, the power, the difference between the sour and the sweet, or the mundane and extraordinary.
3.) Understand that there is a period of time, a season between the planting and the harvest. The fruit comes from the power of the Holy Spirit, but it comes from being connected with the Vine over time.
As we journey through 2024, may we trust our Father, remain connected to the Son, and walk with the Holy Spirit towards our harvest.
Connection to the True Vine catalyses global impact.
Every good thing starts with a connection to the True Vine.
And thus, the theme for our 2024 communication will unpack what it means to remain connected to the True Vine. We'll look at practical ways we can encourage surfers to do this, how it will change your walk with God, and how it catalyzes a global impact to connect surf culture to Jesus.
